These high quality Collin melting pots are made to order and have a capacity of 40 – 1000kg.

They can be heated either electrically or by gas or oil.  The sturdy steel construction features a heat-insulated melting pot and a hand driven stirring device. Steel steps are also available.

These melting pots are supplied ready for use and come complete with a switch unit for the various electrical control elements.

Particular advantages of these melting pots:

• The intergrated temperature sensor enables the pot to be set at the optimum casting temperature according to type of alloy.
• By means of a hand operated valve in the bottom of the pot, the molten metal can be transfered directly to the casting trough without dross.
